Group Placement

Current swimmers will be assigned a group by the coaching staff at registration. Amongst other criteria, the decisions for placement will be made on the previous season's end of year evaluations and attendance record.

At registration, new swimmers will be tested by the coaching staff after the parents meeting. New swimmers arriving during the season will be tested at a time convenient to the coaches.

Groups are tentative. During the first month of practice especially, swimmers may be moved around.  All final groups will be made by the 3^rd week in Season so the correct balance of dues can be paid.

When coaches think that a swimmer should move up a group, the swimmer will receive an invitation letter to join the next group. There will be scheduled test set days throughout the season where swimmers will be evaluated on the criteria for the next higher group. At anytime during the season if a swimmer feels they are ready for the next level, they may speak with their coach and arrange a time when they may be tested out.
